Hygiene

At Little Acorns we strive to maintain a high level of cleanliness at all times. The rooms are cleaned regularly throughout the day using antibacterial cleaning techniques. The children’s toys are cleaned using Milton and babies cups, bowls and spoons are sterilised after every use. All other children’s cutlery and crockery are sterilised using the dishwasher after every use.

Equal Opportunities

All the staff are committed to treating each child, parent and carer with equal concern. The outcome is that each child in the nursery is valued as an individual and is encouraged to develop a positive attitude to differences of race, religion, culture and language, as well as the differences of gender and ability. This helps give all the children a realistic picture of the world in which we live.

Problems will be dealt with fairly and according to the age of the child. Your child will never be made to feel humiliated or frightened. Physical punishment of any sort, of course, is absolutely forbidden in the nursery.
